My "why"

Taking photos has always come easy for me, even before I owned a camera. I loved positioning subjects a certain way, being mindful of the photo's surroundings, catching the best light flares, and so on. But honestly, I never thought "photography" would be my lifelong dream; the passion and creative outlet I've been searching for my entire life.

Every photographer is different. We all have our own unique style and energy that is portrayed through our work. This is the kind of experience you'll get if you choose to work with me:

• When two people are in love, it's magic. I really do believe that. I have had the honor of watching so many couples get engaged, get married, celebrate on their honeymoon, anniversaries, and even vow renewals. Whether your love is brand new or you've been with your partner for most of your life; love in itself is magical. And photographing it in my own special way is something I'll never take for granted.
• Mothers. This world quite literally revolves around them. As a woman, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and an aunty; I've watched the women in my life grow into nurturing mothers and it brings me to tears just thinking about them. There is nothing on earth like a mother's love, and if there's one thing I'm confident in, it's my ability to capture that. Photographing a mom being a mama is and always will be my favorite.
• I believe in creativity. I like to try new things, new locations, shooting in different light, new poses, meeting new people, all the things! I let the world inspire me; I'm a sponge that never dries out, I am constantly being inspired and motivated to create.
• Friendship. If you don't want to know about me, or don't want me to know about you, we're probably not the best fit (and that's just me being honest). Creating a bond with every single one of my clients is crucial for me. Tell me your story, how you got here, your hopes and dreams, tell me anything and everything you want me to know because believe it or not, it really does help. I can capture you more authentically if I know who you are. I'm not here to just take a couple photos of you; I'm here to create a safe space for you to feel unapologetically you. A place to feel free, to feel seen, to feel beautiful.
